Loose cannon thats an impressive analysis, a throwback light to Gwanda’s political miasma. As Malawians lets not just pretend that we dont know the evils that men and women in power do to fellow citizens. We are not the Judge though.Fare thee well Mphezi

While a lot of positive things have been said about Gwandangulube Chikhaza, I suppose there are those of us who might also say the bad side of Gwanda. One Mzee wrote of the same on his Facebook page the other day of how hostile the man was and could be to his purported enemies. As is common knowledge by now the gentleman was known for his short tempered ness and quick to finish of those he deemed were a threat to his upward movement to leadership. Being associated with the notorious MYP, as its commander Gwanda ruthlessly dealt with his… Read more »

If truth be told the hero would be the villain. However who are we to determine or question how Presidential Powers are used or abused in granting the honor for a full military funeral at the expense of the state.

Mr author sir if your saying “we must stand up against evil people dead or alive” is to go by the Chakuamba was not wrong to step onto the deady body of late Chisiza, the former minister but you are also condemning him, you are just a bitter

One of the reasons I read Nyasa Times is because of Dzuka Malawi Dzuka. You know what? This guy calls a spade a spade. Back to the issues, to the young ones who don’t know what the word congress means, let me educate you. This means in simple terms, TERROR. I believe KB wished all Malawians were not educated and did not have access to… Read more »

Spot on! Lets stop this nonsense of hero worshipping these villains whose lives were lived for self enrichment using “whatever means” necessary to satisfy their personal egos and caused suffering including killing many innocent souls! Whatever heroic attributes and statesmanship that warranted according this villain a state funeral I don’t know!

The loose canon that’s impressive. As Malawians we tend to join the bandwagon of praising the dead even if if they were brutal as Hitler. ….let a spade be called a spade. These grey haired politicians have caused so much pain to some Malawians…some failed school, some were struck by sudden poverty due to these so called untouchables of that time. Some of these politicians do not even deserve military honors….greatness is never given its earned. This should be a lesson to people like George Chaponda, play your cards well we hear so many nasty stories about you. Be a… Read more »
