Once upon a time while at Chanco we were made to believe that you have not studied English Literature if you had not studied Shakespeare. This was irrespective of the fact that you would do English literature from Chaucer to 20th Century, The European Novel and English Poetry from the Elizabethan Period through the age of Enlightenment to the 20th Century.
