Silver agree deal with Blantyre United on Victor and Tigzowere

Silver Strikers have agreed terms in principle with Blantyre United on the possible transfers of Victor ‘Vibrey’ Limbani and Tigzowere Kumwenda , according to Blantyre United technical director Lawson Nakoma.

The Bankers want to move fast to replace midfielder Frank Banda and Chawanangwa Kawonga , who left for Mozambique.

However, the clubs still need to agree a fee for the two players, who are currently loaned to champions Big Bullets.

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Big Bullets have all been linked with the players.

However, the Area 47 out-fit have moved quickest and want to beef up their squad ahead of the 2015/ 2016 season, which is expected to kick-off on April 17.

Nakoma confirmed to have agreed with the Bankers on the sale of the two players.

“Discussions have reached at an advanced stage. Silver have shown some seriousness in the two players and soon we will finalize the deal,” said Nakoma.

If the deals will materialize, Limbani and Kumwenda will play their last game in red and white on April 4, when Big Bullets will host AI-Hilal of Sudan in the return match of the Caf Champions League.

In the first leg, the Peoples Team were demolished 4-0 in Khartoum.
