Banda was among the high profile list of guests invited at the launch.

The jam packed Mlambe Inn was sent into jubilation and ululation when the director of ceremonies invited him on stage alongside other guests to challenge each other in purchasing the first CD.

Patrons started chanting ‘aimbe! Aimbe’ but the ever smiling and calm musician turned down people’s demands claiming his Alleluia Band backing team was not present.

Other guests Catherine Chisuse and Pastor Shell from oversees bought the CD at K30,000 each while a Mrs. Banda and Pastor Dzonzi of Balaka bought theirs at K25,000.00 each.

During her perfomance, Chitsulo produced a spirited and five star perfomance that kept the audience on their toes from the first minute she jumped on stage up to the last.

She dished out all her popular songs but it was “Mavutowa Akadzatha” which everyone could not resist but to sing along.

She was at the end joined by Favoured Martha who took over the mantle to the satisfaction of the audience.

Martha was also a marvel to watch with her attractive dancing antics.

She performed songs like Yesu ndi Bwana, Baba Musalore, Nthawi yang and Ondikonda ndili Naye leaving the people gaging for more despite the darkness that had engulfed the the jam packed Mlambe in as she bow out.

In her remarks, Chitsulo described the show as impressive and a success.

“I would like to thank you people of Balaka for supporting my show, where you are standing know from deep down your heart you have helped a needy child somewhere and an elderly through your coming” said Chitsulo.

She announced that half of the proceeds of the whow will go to the launch while the other half goes towards the Princess Chitsulo
