Wanderers and Eagles will play on Saturday July 23 at Kamuzu Stadium.

The second game to be shown live on Beta TV will be one of the  big head-to-head of the season,  on Sunday July 24 involving defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets against Silver Strikers at Kamuzu Stadium.

The move comes as  Beta TV  acquired the rights at K266 million per season for the next three years after outbidding Times Television (Times TV) and Matindi (MTV).

“We want to give people access to great moments from the TNM Super League matches live,” said Beta TV director Maneno Mtawali .

He said Beta TV is “100 percent ready” to start beaming the flagship league matches.

“We will beam any of the games that will be on the fixtures starting from July 23.”

According to Super League of Malawi (Sulom), clubs are expected to share equally proceeds from the broadcast rights, a model adopted by most of the world’s major leagues.
