The organization has provided this in different Lodges as well as Karonga Museum.

Sky Band Cooperation Limited has also donated a K600, 000 modern roadblock at Mwenilondo along Karonga-Mzuzu M1 road in the area of the lawmaker Frank Mwenefumbo.

Speaking during the launch of the project, the company’s Corperate Networks Manager Daffy Chikakuda said the decision follows an appeal madevby Mwenefumbo.

“Honorable Mwenefumbo approached us that the roadblock was outdated hence compromising the security,” said Chikakuda.

While appreciating the internet provider for the donation, Mwenefumbo asked other companies in the country to emulate what Sky Band has done.

“You know the country have numbers of roadblocks so for the company to select the roadblock of my area it is not a joke,” said Mwenefumbo.

He said the new roadblock will tighten the security than before.

Meanwhile, Sky Band has promised more development to the area.
