Soul Savers Praise Team set for national tour
Soul Savers Praise Team which launched its DVD, Devil Ukuchepa, on March 3 in the capital Lilongwe is embarking on a national tour that will see them re-launching in the country’s cities and towns beginning this month-end.
The eight-member band which started in 2015 said after Lilongwe, they will be taking the DVD to Blantyre, Zomba, Mzuzu and Balaka, among others.
“We have been under pressure from our fans that they want us to perform for them at their doorsteps, and we feel obliged to do that for them,” said Chimwemwe Phiri, the team leader.
According to her, the DVD has been well-received.
“We managed to sell quite a good number of copies on the launch day. We are short of words to express how much we are thankful to our fans,” said Phiri.
She said they will start with Blantyre before they trek to Balaka and Zomba then Mzuzu.
