A Malawi court has thrown out charges against eight people accused in a coup plot allegedly hatched by ex-president Bakili Muluzi a year ago, court officials said Tuesday.
The eight were discharged after the “state failed to formally charge the suspects,” a court ruling obtained by AFP said.
