Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL), formerly owned by government, on Friday retrenched about 575 workers.The company’s public relations officer Lorraine Phiri confirmed the development and said the retrenched staffs are mostly technical workers that include cleaner and security guards.
Others are from finance and administration department.
