Tay Grin and Sonye hit record ‘Kanda’ featuring Nigerian act Orezi
The song which dropped on 15 June and on Tay Grin’s birthday has been gaining popularity in Malawi since it’s release.
It’s been a major hit in clubs, on radios, and been trending all over social media.
Produced by the singer-producer-hit maker Sonye on a ‘manganje’ type of beat and dance track melody, it’s no surprise the song has had people on their feet and vibing to the hit.
Before it’s official release “Kanda” was first performed at Theo Thomson’s White Elephant album launch held at Robin’s Park on 5th June in Blantyre and received a major positive response from the crowd that had people dancing and singing along to it.
The song comes after Sonye’s “Tsika” and Tay Grin’s “Chipapapa” featuring Nigeria’s 2Baba aka 2face.
Tay Grin and Sonye are currently around town on a radio tour promoting their song “Kanda”.
