TB Joshua’s SCOAN Wiseman Chi reappears

John Chi, one of the five synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Wisemen, who disppeared  seven weeks ago briefly re-appeared on Sunday, August 25th on the SCOAN Television station, Emmanuel TV, during a Sunday service broadcast live.

The media, especially in Nigeria, where the church is based, has been awash with speculation that the wiseman had left the SCOAN without any explanation and this brought alot of suspicions especially to people who do not believe in the work and miracles claimed in this church which has a huge following with millions of viewers worldwide.

Last Sunday the SCOAN confirmed that John Chi was not around though he did not go in details but asked the congregation to pray for him. It is said that last Sunday Prophet TB Joshua, SCOAN Senior Pastor, did not preach his prepared message but suddenly changed to a different tiltle, Do not tempt the devil to tempt you – many viewers believe this was in connection to the disapperance of John Chi.

On Sunday, August 25, as Prophet TB Joshua revealed that John Chi was in the church and was going to preach to the congregation, a loud applause greeted him showing how much they missed him at the same time it showed how much God is with this church.

TB Joshua continued speaking before John Chi came on the pulpit saying the congregation and viewers do not know what the servants of God, the wisemen and Joshua himself, go through as they carry out their noble tasks in the SCOAN. He did not elaborate.

In his short message, Wiseman John Chi started by thanking all those who have been praying for him during his absence. He said there have been many different messages flying around when he was not being seen in the SCAN.

“Some people said I was sick, others I had left the SCOAN but here I am in very good health, and right here in the SCOAN.”

He however did not say where he had been neither did he say what he had been doing or why he has been missing.

In his sermon, John Chi repeated the same message preached by his master, TB Joshua last Sunday – Do not tempt the devil to tempt you – he said if anyman conducts God’s business using their own abilities as opposed to God’s supernatural powers will be in trouble.

His message was brief emphasizing the same point of avoiding tempting the devil. He however did nt join fellow wisemen in deliverance and healing sessions. After his short message he disappeared again.

Whatever the message means, it seems the disappearnce of John Chi had something to do with it, with tricks of the devil as he, in his message. repeated the fact that the devil is a liar, saying he was already defeated by Jesus Christ.

Why would Joshua suddenly change his message and why would his prodigal wisemwn dwell on the same?

The SCOAN has five Wisemen who assist Prophet TB Joshua in the church undertakings including healing miracles, prophesies and preaching.

It is claimed that the world has never had such a powerful man of God in our generation if not since the departure of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who performs buffling miracles. One such wonder is a prophesy he said about the death of Malawi late President, Bingu wa Mutharika, exact date and nature of his passing, sudden.

There are other people however who do not believe in all that TB Joshua does and say. They say it is satanic despite all the obvious miracles and good works such as helping the disabled, widows and widoers, communities to live a better life, scholarships to needy children and many more.

Some analysits say it is not easy to understand how mightly God is using this man, TB Joshua and that makes many people to find it difficult to believe despite that everything is open and straight forward as it is broadcast live for all to see and believe.
