Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior have something special that cannot be seen with those that have not. In them you see the light of God that can only come through the Lord Jesus Christ just as it was from the time Jesus Christ began to preach that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
“The people which sat in darkness saw great Light and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light sprung up” (Mathew 4:16).
Life without Jesus Christ means living in total darkness which one doesn’t realized until they come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. When light comes in people’s lives, we are all able to know because they can freely talk about the Lord of Jesus Christ.
Jesus spoke in Mathew 8:12 so clearly that He is the Light of the world, and those that follow Him shall not walk in darkness but shall have then Light of life. This means that He is the only source of Light therefore we cannot get it from anywhere else but believing in His finished work on the Cross of Calvary.
Just as we take a candle into a room to dispel darkness, this light also is the only that dispels darkness. It is the only light that can touch and change the hearts and lives of people to bring them closer to God. The transformation that takes place once this light comes in the heart and lives of people comes with great power that cannot be comprehended.
That is why we see people like Paul, who initially was very evil but just meeting with the Light of the Lord on his way to Damascus, where He was going to persecute Christians completely changed to an extend that the message of the new covenant was revealed to Him. It is only the power of God that can do that and nothing else.
That also tells us about the grace of God. He does not look at where we are coming from. His focus is what has just happened now that you have now decided to be a child of the light and not of darkness.
Remember, God is love, you may have been walking in darkness but now you have seen you want to be a child of the light, do not despair, you are the reason why Jesus came into the world.
He did not come for those that are already saved but for those that are lost so that they can also see the light. “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost”(Luke 19:10).Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
