Tigresses, who are on second position with 30 points will play Chilomoni Sisters on Tuesday in an early kick-off expected to start at 1:30pm.

On Thursday, the Kanjedza based out-fit will take on Young Professionals at the same venue from 1:30pm.

If they will manage to win all these matches, Tigresses is expected to close in the gap with Kukoma Diamonds on the log table.

Kukoma Diamonds have 39 points from 13 games, while  Tigresses have played 11 games.

In another fixture on Tuesday, Diamonds will lock horns against Shizaella Starts from 3:00pm, while on Thursday it will be turn of Thunder Queens against Gerald Tasaukadala.

Southern Region Netball League General Secretary Annie Hanjahanja has so far described the level of competition in the League as competitive and urged clubs to put an extra effort.

She said it is encouraging to note that what used to be called smaller teams like Prison Sister are now tough  opponents to big teams.

“ We very encouraged because teams like Prison Sisters are no longer punching bags. They concede a few baskets against Big teams than previous before when they used to concede many baskets,” she said.

She also encouraged people to continue patronizing games in the Rainbow Paints.
