TNM hails Bullets on Sapota Mapeto Promotion progress

Malawi flagship Super League sponsor TNM  has hailed the country’s biggest Bullets FC for dominating the SMS Sapota Mapeto since it was launched two months ago.

The promotion has generated K7.5 million for the 15 teams in the league with Bullets pocketing K4.4 million.

TNM’s Sponsorship and Public Relations Manager Limbani Nsapato attributed Bullets success to the initiatives made in mobilising their supporters to send SMSs.

Nsapato commended Bullets during the eighth week draw in which the team generated 28106 SMSs translating to K786,968 raised in two weeks.

“I would like to commend Bullets for dominating the Sapota Mapeto SMS Promotion mainly because the club has mobilised their supporters to send SMS,” Nsapato said.

“They even have their own radio programme just to push their supporters to keep on sending more SMSs.”

Bullets archrivals Mighty Wanderers, the second biggest club by both success and supporters base, hit 14805 SMSs pocketing K414,540 while Central Region giants and TNM Champions Silver Strikers hit 5481 SMSs and raised K153,468.

Blantyre United are the lowest having hit just SMSs to get K168.

In the draw Bullets supporter Hassan Sama from Area 2 in Lilongwe won Samsam Plasm TV set the main prize of monthly draws.
