TNM Media specialist Tiwonge Msiska said the company decided to present the prize at the stadium to motivate football supporters to take part in the promotion.

“We decided to officially handover the prize at Kamuzu Stadium during Wanderers and Mafco game to show people that the promotion is real,” Msiska said.

“It is happening that people are able to win prizes such as plasma tv set.”

She expected that people would take the competition seriously after seeing Haji receiving the prize.

Each  SMS cost K40 of which K28 goes to the team of the support whole the remainder is for the mobile phone service provider.

Bullets FC proved that they have bigger supporters base after getting the highest SMS from their supporters to win the K2.1 million their rivals Wanderers on second got K1 million and Silver Strikers just got K294,000 on third position.
