TNM pumps K3mil for Third Eye album launch
Malawi’s integrated mobile and ICT network service provider TNM has given a sponsorship package worth K3 million in support of the 8th album launch by Third Eye in Lilongwe .
TNM Senior Manager (Public Relations) Akossa Mphepo said it is in line with one of TNM’s strategic objectives to harness Malawian youth by promoting their talent as a catalyst for socio-economic development.
“TNM has so much passion in the youth because we believe they are the promise for Malawi’s future. We continue to support efforts aimed at unleashing youth potential, and in bringing about social and economic change through sport, ICT and now music,” she said.
Mphepo said art and culture is a flourishing industry in Malawi and TNM looks forward to partnering with innovative and industrious minds in the field.
Third Eye, whose real name is Mandela Mwanza is one of Malawi’s contemporary musicians in the genre of rap and is also a poet, author and music promoter under Soul Rebel Entertainment.
In the youth development, TNM is the sole sponsor of the country’s flagship football league, the Super League and is involved in supporting capacity building to harness youth entrepreneurship in innovation by Malawian youth under a partnership with EMNET.
