1.Mafco v Big Bullets: Match Preview

Mafco and Big Bullets have made disappointing break in the TNM Super League following their failure to clinch the Carlsberg Cup, which is now in the shelves at Lali Lubani Road. The Peoples Team ousted Mafco in the Cup before they were outclassed by Mighty Be Forward Wanderers in the finals.

The Salima based soldiers will now face the Peoples Team Saturday at Chitowe Stadium. This will be anything but a classic. Bullets look like the more settled side of the two and on paper have the edge in attack over Mafco. However, Mafco coach Thomas Maloya will be hoping his players can rebut criticism of their Thursday’s poor result in the Standard Bank against Wanderers when they were shown an exit-door with a 3-4 goal margin.

Kick-off Saturday 2:30pm

2.Fisd Wizards V Civo United

Visits to Kamuzu Stadium have had dire ramifications for recent Civo United coach Oscar Kaunda in the first round . The Civil Servants failed to secure a maximum points at Kamuzu Stadium in the first round. Saturday’s fixture against Fisds Wizards is an awkward trip at a tricky time. The Peter Mponda’s boys wrapped up the first round on an electric note following their draws against Silver Strikers and Kamuzu Barracks away. Mponda boys, are anxious for a first win at Kamuzu Stadium .

3.Kamuzu Barracks V Azam Tigers

Gerald Phiri will be confident Azam Tigers will continue to improve on their solid finish to the first round season. With the Kau-Kau boys on the second slot of the log table, Phiri the manager will more than likely lean on the fast-flourishing attacking threat of Yamikani Chester, Diverson Chilemba and Peter Kansonga to break down Kamuzu Barracks. Kamuzu Barracks coach Kenwood Nkhoma will be conscious that his defence has to improve, after Dedza Young Soccer tore them apart last Wednesday in the Standard Bank, if they are to secure a positive result from the encounter.

4.Mighty Be Forward Wanderers V Civo United

This will be a better test of Civo United recovery this season after the traumas of the last campaign. They arrive at Kamuzu Stadium with a pristine record to date, but the Capital City giants resurrected from the grave yard towards the end of the first round after a poor start to the 2015 season. Mighty Wanderers side looked more like their spritely selves at Civo Stadium on Thursday when they ousted Mafco FC in the Standard Bank and pose far more of a threat with the forward propulsion of Victor Nyirenda in their ranks. Civo United cannot also permit Rafiq Mussa the space to revel afforded him by Mafco.

Mzuni FC and Silver Strikers will be a tricky fixture if the bankers recent poor form is anything to go by. The bankers confirmed that their lethal midfielder Blessings Tembo returned to training this week after a long break due to an injury, but a decision on his fitness will be left to the last minute. Mzuni are without Ikiza Imebo, who has jumped the ship to Big Bullets but Omegadihno is in contention to start

6.Blue Eagles V Airborne Rangers

Airborne Rangers will be hoping to make a better showing than their first round League campaign, when they had a dis-jointed campaign. The club have effectively gone out and left the mantle to Kondwani Gawani as the coach. However, playing the area 30 Cops at Nankhaka Stadium has always been tough. All in all fireworks are expected to explode in Area 30 as the cops will engage in the three points battle with the soldiers.

Kick-off Sunday 2: 30pm

Venue Nankhaka Stadium.

7.Dedza Young Soccer V Red Lions

Red Lions are in familiar territory but Dedza after pruning another military side Kamuzu Barracks in the Standard Bank, the old capital city soldiers must be very worried. Pofera Jegwe boys , show that they have the quality to respond. Fresh from their Standard Bank victory, Pofera can be beaming with confidence, but at the same time he should be scared that Red Lions invade Dedza to revenge Kamuzu Barracks ouster in the Standard Bank.

Kick-off Sunday 2.30pm
