The 17 track album which was recorded by Stich fray at D n T Records, features productions by Dare Devils, Chuck Davis, Sticky Stacks, Stich fray and Blage.

Speaking to this publication in an interview on Friday, Trap Squad’s Manager Ronald Zeleza also known as Ron Cz said the album title came in after  realizing  how long the group has been together but also how they do everything as a family.

“We share ideas, dine together and make plans together. The royal family is a whole new different approach. We introduced the powerful singer sir Patrick’s and also the composition of songs is different from the previous project. The response is massive as there are already many pre orders from a lot of people,” Zeleza boasted.

However, he bemoaned piracy, saying the music scene right now is still lacking a means of selling and earning money, noting that CDs are still pirated quickly and online sells are not working.

“We feel the government should intervene and put measures on piracy.

“We work hard and we deserve to be rewarded just imagine we have been working on the project since last year and now we are facing challenges to promote and market the album,” The Trap Squad boss lamented.

Asked on the rumour that Juda Gaga has left the group, Zeleza explained, “Juda Gaga is still around and she appears in 6 songs on the album.

“She has been busy with school so we realized her education was more important so she needed to concentrate on it than appear on the promo singles and go with us on shows. She is 100% a trap member.”

There are 5 artists in trap Squad. Revolver, a rapper, an accountant/auditor , Stich fray an entrepreneur who runs D n T companies, Chavura, a rapper, a graduate in fisheries degree, Sir Patrick’s a business person/professional singer and Juda Gaga, a rapper, a student at Blantyre international university.

Trap squad’s last music project was called “Family over Everything” (FOE). It was a mixtape and it came out in 2014.
