Simbarashe Mungoshi, who was a senior lecturer in journalism at the Polytechnic College of the University of Malawi, passed away on Saturday.

His present and past students are all saddened by his death.

His former student Chiku Ndaferankhande said: “My lecturer and dissertation supervisor. Never knew he was sick.”

Professor Wiseman Chijere Chirwa said: “I taught him at Chancellor College. Was surely one of the very few creative and critical thinkers in his group.”
