In his resignation letter dated 12th January, 2015, Kalua who served as Chairman in 2011 before re-elected as Vice Chairperson in 2015 said he feels he has done his part and decided to pave way for others.

“To begin with, I believe that I have achieved all the goals that I set out to achieve with the SRFA such that it is only right and proper that I move in to other duties” Kalua told a local newspaper.

“It is on the basis of the foregoing that I feel compelled to resign. I am extremely proud of the work that I have been able to do for the SRFA up to this point in time” added Kalua.

Kalua claimed he has played a part  in setting up the foundation of the SRFA and hopes it will build strongly in future.

“I believe I have played a small part in laying down the foundation upon which the SRFA can hopefully build in the future” said Kalua.

Meanwhile, Southern Region Football Association through its Chairperson Raphael Humba have confirmed receiving Kalua’s resignation letter.

But Humba said the association will meet this weekend and before releasing a press statement on the association’s response.

Trouble is a graduate and a lawyer for that matter, his boss Raphael Humba a Form Two drop out, how could you expect the two to work together?

  2. With the confusion of Nsejjere and Countrywide sponsorships, that’s the only noble thing an administrator should do. I believe Mr. Humba will also follow suit….
