UK-based TV host Pauline Long feed hunger stricken families in Zomba: Miss Malawi UK organiser identified community

A  Kenyan-born BEN TV host Pauline Long, based in England who is popular for the Pauline Long Show which airs on Sky 182 Channel, has again donated maize to  feed  hunger stricken families in Malawi in her charity endeavours.

This is the second time for Long,  who is also Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts’ (Beffta)  awards founder, to feed the hungry families in Malawi after she donated maize meal to 100 families in Mzimba earlier this year.

In the latest donation, Long gave 50 bags of maize each weighing 50 Kg to people of Chathina village in Sub Traditional Authority (STA) Nkapita, in Zomba district.

Long said she was “touched” to note that many people are faced with hunger in Malawi.

“I thought it wise  to come in and help with  food aid,” said Long,  who is the ambassador and patron for over 20 charities and organisations, is a multi-award winning entrepreneur, philanthropist. She is also a global ambassador for Universal Peace.

She pledged to continue helping the needy Malawians.

Long said the beneficiaries was identified by locals through Director of Miss Malawi UK Kondi Bowoyeke  Munthali.

Bowoyeke Munthali confirmed to Nyasa Times and hailed Pauline Long for the donation.

He said his organisation will continue working with Pauline Long in charity work that benefits disadvantaged Malawians.

Long,  a frequent donor to several charities,  is calling on the public for more support to help Malawian families, saying anyone wanting to make a donation should get in touch with the Pauline Long Show team at [email protected].
