Uladi says Msonda never informed PP of resignation, wishes him well
Acting president of Peoples Party (PP) Uladi Mussa has said the party former spokesperson Ken Msonda never informed PP leadership of his resignation.
“He has my four mobile phone numbers, he never called me to tell me he was resigning from the party. However, all the best to him. He has a democratic right to leave PP,” Mussa said.
Msonda confirmed he never tendered a resignation letter to Mussa but said he informed party founder Joyce Banda who is in self imposed exile.
“She is my political mentor, she is my mother therefore she had to know first before I made the announcement,” said Msonda who joined politics in 1994 in the then ruling United Democratic Front.
He says he will take a break off from frontline politics to spend more time with his family before bouncing back in the near future.
