UNIMA is no longer a source of pride and elitism. It is just one of those white elephants. The staffing levels are pathetic. In some faculties, the departments are run by inexperienced foreign experts. There are no enough learning materials. Archaic books linger in the book shelves in the library.There is no knowledge production, i.e. research. Toilets lack cleaning materials and tissues. There is no renovations of the delapidated infrastructure. It seems professors are promoted not on merit. Congratulations for an incredible 50 years. Koma my concern is – am not seeing the University being proactive in ensuring that students pay back the loan to help it grow. Kapenatu just stop calling it a loan….call it a grant.
It has deteriorated in standards.
