In Malawi everyone is a judge even a news reporter and a reader. God have mercy on these moonlight judges and newspaper prosecutors.

Good one indeed. It also teaches us how biased are our judges,in between the lines.

You reminded me of author Solzentseyn (don’t bother to comment on the spelling, it’s Russian anyway). Very touching story. Wish I could write like you and join the fight for real justice. Be assured that you have a big following of fans. By the way, some of us buy the Sunday paper just to read your column. Hope you will not change once you are offered a government post.

Sounds like a Joke but very serious issue here for the nation. May the judgement day come soonest. I know nothing happens for nothing, a day will come, either here on earth or after death – And they will wonder from where a misfortune is coming.

Very good story which brings u tears @ the end of two justices in one country, but we find solace that even after a million years villager john will get true justice before God, so too will u Madame answer before the Almighty for stealing our hard tax money which would hav asstd poor folks through medicines in hospitals, even if u madame built churches God cant accept repentance frm evil proceeds only sinful clergy men will.

This is one of the most touching pieces you’ve ever produced Ralph. Puts things into perspective. Justice (in Malawi) is for sale.

Please accept my congrats for a good hearty article have no jealousy as most Malawians are. For sure i argue that human beings will never offer perfect justice since the instruments used have flaws. When Peter Bingu JB & Muluzi steal are branded fraudisters but any person steals is given condemnatory names Thief Robber Mbava yoopsa forgeting that we have real well educated thieves who are heartless equal to Satan but in highest office. Why provide immunity to thieves in the name of presidency. U ask me no need for that stupid law.

Well, some grammatical errors which can be attributed to the writer being hangover. I like the quote from Comrade Che, this country with one justice for the ‘haves’ and another for the ‘have nots’ needs Ches to administer justice for the poor and make selfish, greedy and corrupt people disappear and buried in unmarked graves so that their spirit gone forever.

Is that all right? that writer should be writing while hangover? No wonder Journalists in Malawi are given a blank cheque.
