Wanderers climb out of relegation zone: Malawi TNM Super League

Sparrow Msowoya made it two goals in two games as Mighty Wanderers eased themselves out of the TNM Super League relegation zone at the weekend in Dwangwa where they collected full points after beating Mafco and Airborne Rangers by 1-0 margins on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Msowoya scored both goals in the back-to-back wins for the blues.

But more importantly, it lifted them from the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone.

The Nomads have soared five places from the bottom to 10th position with 14 points from 14 games.

“The revival will continue,” assured Wanderers coach Gerald Phiri.

Meanwhile, league sponsors TNM launched the Supporter Mapeto Promotion in style and its public relations and sponsorship manager Limbani Nsapato announced a new reward of K1 million for the team that will be the first to hit 100 000 SMSs.
