Wanderers sack coach Fosko, Mbolembole takes over: Malawi Super League

Mighty Wanderers have sacked head coach Felix Fosko who has guided the team to the winning start in the TNM Super League.

Wanderers chairman Geogre Chamangwana confirmed the development and thanked Fosko “for his great contributions to the club since taking over as coach.”

Chamangwana said Wanderers club felt that “a change was necessary.”

Meanwhile, Wanderers have appointed former manager for the Malawi national team, Stuart Mbolembole to be head coach.

Mbolembole, who had a glorious playing career with Wanderers and was coached the club, will still have assistant coach Albert Mpinganjira alongside him in the technical panel.

Wanderers chairman said he was delighted with the arrival of Mbolembole.

He said Mbolembole has great respect within the game, adding that he develops players and knows how to win games at all levels.
