What Nyondo does has a multiple effect on young tumbukas. as a secondary school teacher teaching in the Central Region, I posted here several years ago that one tumbuka girl lamented when her friends asked her the question, are you a tumbuka? The girl felt bad and sad because to her that question meant a lot. I am a Lhomwe but I also felt very bad. To my surprise, those asking the question did not mean any ill intention. They wanted to take the issue further by asking the tumbuka girl her tradition, the types of food and dances that… Read more »

Rev Nyondo if you are tired please retire. Don’t divide the people of Malawi Learn to appreciate what the Government is doing. At a funeral we only preach unity not what ypu are doing . I am a member of Livingstonia Synod but disagree with what you are telling the people

Malawi’s greatest strength, if it were properly understood and utilized in accordance with God’s Word, is WHAT GOD CALLS THE “SALT OF THE EARTH” and the “LIGHT OF THE WORLD”, in simple terms, “Christians, Believers in Christ Jesus,” who are quite in abundance in Malawi. Now the saltiness of the salt is only appreciated when it is actively applied to the relish, and the goodness of light is best appreciated when it drives away darkness! But the Lord Jesus Christ asked, “If the salt loses its saltiness, wherewith shall it seasoned again? For it is no longer good for anything… Read more »

Unity in Malawi is just lip service. The Mutharika family have divided Malawi. It’s not only northerners who are agreed. Even the Central, Eastern and some ethnic groups in the southern region feel marginalized. Only the Lomwe people are, the dullest of this country, are proud of this government.

Anyondo ingoyambani ndale basi osamabisalila ku mpingo. Let me ask you, is Livingstonia Mission a church institution or a political organisation? What do you preach on on Sundays to your congregants? Do you know the mandate Jesus gave to His followers and to do with earthly things? Do you know that you are instilling the spirit of separatist is in the youthful generation from your region? Were you called to serve God or…..? Do you dream about the gospel or politics? Are you proud of planting churches in the working territory of your sister synod Nkhoma? Do you boast about… Read more »

Nyondo your time is gone and God has nothing to offer to your northern synod. What you blame DPP leadership for is exactly what you are. Both you and government are equally same only that you come from north. Don’t mislead us at such a funeral. Vuwa is dead and rotten nothing good can offer to the peter. Been fellow northerners why can’t you sit down and resolve your differences before taking the matter to peter? Peter is another fool, do you think can take an advice from vuwa? As a northerner from mudyaka, I regret having such dull people… Read more »

REV NYONDO HAS A POINT. I REQUEST PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, LIVINGSTONIA SYNOD, NKHOMA SYNOD, CHRR, CEDEP, MALAWI WATCH, ETC. TO SCRUTINIZE ALL APPOINTMENTS MADE BY MUTHARIKA OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS ON DIPLOMATS, CEOs OF PARASTATALS, SENIOR CIVIL SERVANTS FROM P4 AND ABOVE, AND ALL STATE INSTITUTIONS. YOU WILL BE SHOCKED TO SEE HOW NEPOTISTIC THIS GOVERNMENT IS. WE HAVE THE DATA IN THE MINISTRIES AND RADY TO COOPERATE. TINGOGAWANAPO ZIDA APA. MA UDINDO A BOMA AKUNGOPATSANA MWAKACHETECHETE. AND YET MUTHARIKA HAS THE AUDACITY TO SEND NGOLONGOLIWA TO CENTRAL REGION SEEKING FOR UNITY, KUTI IWOWO ZAO ZIZIYENDA. THIS IS BULL… Read more »
