Wizards are yet to win any match at Kamuzu Stadium in the 2015 soccer season.

Civo’s lone goal came in the 13th minute when Wyson Khana tapped in a loose ball after Wizards goalkeeper Brighton Munthali and his defenders failed to clear a well taken corner-kick..

Both teams looked tired as resorted to playing mostly aerial balls.

The Civil Servants, who featured Victor Mpinganjira who is on loan from Mighty Be Forward Wanderers were more organised in the first 45 minutes than the rookies.

Emmanuel Zoya and John Lanjesi experience helped the Civil Servant to command the game ,

Wizards were goal shy during their attacks. The only noticable shot was in the first half courtesy of Precious Msosa.

Fisd Coach Peter Mponda could be seen furious on the touchline with his players for failing to secure an equalizer, as on the other side Oscar Kaunda looked convinced with the 1-0 margin from his troops.

Civo United have now collected 19 points from 15 games while Wizards remain at the bottom of the 15-team log table with nine points from 15 games.

Azam Tigers have maintained the second position on the table after a goalless draw with Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

Tigers have 27 points from 15 games whereas Kamuzu Barracks are fourth with 23 points.

Unfortunately, in this kind of sport, a coach has to win games then he can be called a ‘great coach’. Notwithstanding the background, the coach is respected by the results.
Peter Mponda won’t be taken seriously until he translates his skills into great coaching, transforming the young ‘Wizards’ into a force to reckon in a National League (Super League). Otherwise, keeping his mouth shut, not commenting on or criticising the performance of the National Team will be appreciated, even long overdue..

I have been hearing that this team plays very well but to my surprise its not wining games. 9 points 15 games is embarassing. The club have bought some few players during transfer window to improve the squad but the coach seems to be comfortable. How can we appreciate your advice to national team coach on which players to use if your team is losing every day.
