Chester, who is one of Malawi’s skillful players, spoke a few words, saying it is “a dream to be here at Wanderers” before walking onto the pitch to train with the Nomads for the first time.

The midfielder also hailed Wanderers fans, players and officials for a warm welcome and described Wanderers an organized and great club in Malawi.

Wanderer’s team manager Steve Madeira said they were impressed with Chester and wished him the best the time he will be at Lali-Lubani Road.

Madeira, who was non-committal to say the duration of Chester’s contract said Wanderers is geared for the League and cups.

“We are trying our best to beef up our squad because all we want is to win the League and all the cups this season,” said Madeira.

This is the fourth player for Wanderers to sign this season after roping in Silver Strikers captain Lucky Malata and two Under-20 players Precious Sambani and Francisco Madinga.

Meanwhile, Be Forward Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao said they have left with one striker to complete their signing this season.

Butao also said their vastly experienced goalkeeper Vales Kamzere will be doubling as goalkeepers trainer and goalkeeper.
