Chitsulo told Nyasa Times that he feels he has done his part for the past two years and stressing time has come for others to continue where he has stopped.

“I have done my part and it is time for others to continue where l have stopped. I am not Mr Wanderers, let others also contribute with new ideas,” said Chitsulo.

Chitsulo said he will be leaving his post a happy man having fulfilled his promises like curbing out football hooliganism amongst club supporters and bringing unity to the blues.

“I can proudly say during my tenure there were no violence’s at Wanderers matches,” said Chitsulo.

Chitsulo however, insisted will remain a dedicated Nomads fan.

“I will continue patronising and supporting my team because it is in my blood,” he said.

Meanwhile, three people including Malunga have shown an interest to contests for the top seat.Others are Melvin Nkunika and Yamikani Kaliyapa.

Kaliyapa told Nyasa Times he is ready to bring change to Wanderers. For instance, he said his main aim to contests is make sure that players are benefiting more financially from the club.

He said it is high time players start enjoying the fruits of playing football.

“It is sad that many people who benefit from football are not players. At Wanderers we want to make sure that players are enjoying their work,” said Kaliyapa.

He however, saluted the outgoing committee for a recommendable job, especially curbing out violence during Wanderers games.

Malunga declared that he is eyeing a return, claiming he is responding to supporters’ call to contest.

“I am back to take my position. I want Wanderers supporters to no Yona is coming back with a bang. Kuli Nyerere ku Manoma, le le le kuli Nyerere ku Manoma,” he said while chanting the club supporters popular song.

“I am just responding to Nyerere’s call that I should return and provide the sort of leadership and I have accepted,” he said.

Be Forward Wanderers hold their main supporters committee elections month end of January.
