Country Manager for Zuku TV Roosevelt Mpinganjira said this when he announced a 90 day free subscription offer to new customers effective September 1 2016.

Zuku, a major player across East and Southern Africa with investments of over US$ 410 million, is a home-grown East African brand established with the aim of making quality home entertainment and communication services accessible to a rapidly growing, choice-conscious middle class.

Mpinganjira said the customers will get three months free viewing of the Zuku Smart bouquet.

“The Zuku TV Satellite will be offering three months free subscription to new customers. This offer will have no shelf life and begins in September moving forward.

“Having 29 Digital TV channels and 18 radio stations, Zuku Smart is an affordable TV package that includes local TV channels and a variety of other genres  but its main emphasis is on local content,” said Mpinganjira.

He said after the 90 days expire, customers will have the option to retain the current bouquet for only K 2,500 or to upgrade to other packages available; Zuku Smart Plus, Zuku Classic and Zuku Premium at K3,000 for 40 channels, K4, 000 for 63 channels and K7,000 for 93 channels respectively.

Zuku TV has over 150 channels on the Zuku Satellite platform which are developed to resonate with local audiences.

“This free service offer outlines Zuku’s value for money proposition with a focus on delivery of high quality content at affordable prices. We offer our customers strong products and value for money service  the most affordable TV service with a focus on local content. Zuku provides strong, quality signal anywhere in the country that guarantees access to affordable family entertainment,” he explained.

The Zuku brand under the Satellite TV service has operations in Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda and Malawi offering high quality and affordable family entertainment.

This new offer comes in the wake of a number of incentives that Zuku offered to its customers earlier this year. In March this year, subscribers were given wonderful incentives.

Those who paid six months subscription consecutively received one months free subscription an offer that was also extended to those who paid for six months in advance.

At the same time, those who paid Zuku Smart for 12 months consecutively or in advance received two months free subscription.

The Smart Package offering is a response to customers requests for affordable quality entertainment that suits the needs of the entire family.

Among the channels on offer are Zuku Entertainment, Zuku Movies Max, Zuku Movies Action; Zuku Novella, Zuku Kids, Zuku Life, Zuku Swahili Movies and Zuku Sports.
