It is impossible for KU(325 000) to have the same number of registered votes with DOWA (325 000) because KU is so big as compared to dowa.
In some cases the size of the district does not necessarily correspond with the population. On the other hand, Kasungu registered only 73% of the 438,584 projected voters while Dowa had 83% of the 395,654 expected voters. Then there are also several other dynamics….just my take, anyway…
Anyway are these so called projected figures correct though? One can easily compare KU to Kukaya ku Boma ie Mzimba in terms of voting populations albeit Mzimba has too many young people working as expatriates in RSA BUT came out with about 478 000 registered voters.
So Central region has the highest number of registered voters 2.9 million against 2.8million for Southern Region. MCP boma basi. Mukalephera apa simuzaphulanso
