A problem with many aid organisations is that THEY select who is worthy to have work based.on their own criteria. This often results in resources being wasted on a.group of half enthused people who expect hand-outs. People who are successful are driven . Building a solar powered factory and employing people based on merit would do much more than selecting some specific people (like you’d do in a communist country) for roles. Yep, education and capacity building is good, but it doesn’t drive competition and excellence if those doing the work aren’t selected for by performance.

Young people have little knowledge on climate change impact because you the knowledgeable ones are just sitting phwii without getting active on Facebook, WhatsApp or radio and tv to get the message across to them. All learned Malawians don’t want to get active to sensitise the youths. This is very dangerous for our country. Look how parts like Chikangawa and Dedza which appeared beautifully green barely a decade ago, now look like a desert.
