I hope this writer will continue to offer his excellent analyses and to defy ignorant commentaries. They are always informative and well-written. (His statement, in third para from end, about sending a message about what the court expects from thieves and money-launderers makes no sense to me, however)

Those of you who are whining, write your own commentaries rather than disparaging a well thought out and written comment. Anthu osaphunzira, anjilu inu!!!

If one read the sentencing right, whatever this Prof has apparently ‘authored’ is there! Analyisis? No. The Prof is obviously reporting. But very late.

Is this guy working? Where does he get the time to always waste writing commentaries, whether they are good or not, on Nyasatimes? Why not put his time to good use, represetig criminals who do not have legal representation? Ife we make our own legal opinions, cash gate thieves should be killen on the spot! Case closed, no time to look at context sorrounding their sentensing. More people have died and will die because of these thieves, to to your nearest hospital to validate if you have any doubts.

“Lutepo was a young successful thief”. This was a better way to start with your useless article.

Professor Dan Wood, if you are sympathizing with Lutepo, then you are not a patriotic Malawian. I will not respect you any longer. You don’t love your nation and you have lost touch with reality on the ground here in Malawi.
