Chingape, educated idiots like you are part of the problem. Our politics is an extension of our society- anything bad or good about our politics is a reflection of US as a society. It is a problem of our (political) culture.

To create disfranchised citizens politicians have figured out that the education & health systems have to be collapsed. This naturally creates a society of mainly poor people who are highly governmentt-dependent on hangouts. The populace then becomes highly manipulative by greedy and self9sh politicians who don’t even have to articulate sophisticated policies other than that they will feed the nation (which they don’t once in power). A raw deal indeed! Every five year term we anticipate positive change BUT alas, retrogression. At one point in time I thought, can’t this country run better without politicians? I think it can especially that it will take years to have the clogged and corrupted political system flushed out clean. It’s evidently clear that these political pollutants are hell bent to continue hence the putting in of their ‘unqualified’ children & relatives in political positions and crucial government and parastatals.
