Bishop Msusa recently told Catholics at a mass which Chilima attended in Blantyre to vote for fellow Catholic. By endorsing Chilima, the Bishop has lost moral ground to advice on electoral matters.

I am a catholic who attend mass every day, I will vote for Peter Wa Mutharika and no Bishop is going to gas light me into thinking on my behalf. What the catholic church need to manage now is the issue of priests and bishops sexually abusing our children, this is the issue to manage now and talk about, this campaigning for Chilima will backfire.

Please just say your nonsense about our bishops but do not pretend to be a Catholic. No Catholic can say what you have just said even if they dearly disagree with what the Bishop stand for. Propaganda imeneyo kuti aziti even Catholics are attacking their own Bishops. Uwapeze. Akatolika salekana.

You should know that even within the Catholic Church not all bishops support whoever you are campaigning for . That’s the reason the Catholic Church has lost credibility and influence . Back in the day the church was evidently neutral and when She spoke, she did so with authority. Msusa is behaving like a campaign director for Chilima. I am a catholic but this nonsense from our… Read more »

We are in democracy , where people can make choice of their own. Let me remind my bishop, that the Catholic Church is powerful yes, mighty yes, but the bible says, it is not by power or by mighty but the Spirit of God. God loves the humble not the pride like our… Read more »
