This is the problem in this country people do things in total disdain and nothing happens to them and their main principals do absolutely nothing about it. Subordinates do what their masters do. How else do you explain this state of affairs?

“Malawi Law Society President Khumbo Soko said it could be tricky to conclude that the AG was representing Raiply in that case because for one to be recognized as a legal representative of a party to the case, the law firm or particular lawyer has to file a notice of appointment before the case.

“So, unless the AG filed that notice of appointment that he was representing Raiply it will be not proper to use logic to conclude that he was representing the company,” said Soko.

We did not find any notice filed by the AG.”

SIMPLE LOGIC.

1. Do not entertain any conflict of interest in legal profession. 2. How on earth can the A-G who is a govt legal rep. also represent private clients? Illegal, greedy and unprofessional.
3. What about the rule against biasness?
Sadly, all this is happening under a leader who takes ages to rectify matters and welcomes mediocrity. Poor Malawi!
