Mr Munthali: No, MCP is not competent to arbitrate this case. Mr bandawe should have been accorded the courtesy and decency of natural justice, and heard his side also, before you struck down the gavel.
The Party has clearly taken sides, and by doing so it has disqualified itself to judge without favor. So, this case must proceed to Court, and be heard by a competent judge baasi.

One can smell a rat from the word go. The man likely had made prior arrangements with one of the contestants (behind the scenes, probably funded by a party of thieves & crooks) to dupe Lunguzi. The trick/ plan was for the “fake shadow contestant” to stand then withdraw at the 11th hour i.e. “sell the trickster voters”. This is a dangerous man MCP should not entertain. He will definitely defect after winning on a MCP to his funders.
Juliana lunguzi is as genuine ans genuine person can be. Cool, well mannered, greatly cultured, jealousy down! Rate her performance in parliament. She talks sense and only sense.

MCP with its current leadership is totally useless. You make a very important political decision against Bandawe before hearing his side of the story. Now that he has threatened to take the matter to court, you want to hear him. Does that make sense? Is MCP serious?

You are now failing to manage political party affairs. How can you then manage government affairs? He is an opportunistic person. Juliana is a true MCP person from blood. This one is just seeking a seat through MCP. He stood under PP and lost, so he realizes to win he needs to be under MCP. He is opportunistic and not true to MCP. He must go back to his PP and stand under them. Do not confuse our MCP.

Yes, Mbandawe ,malowalowa. He ended up joining the most democratic, sane, corrupt-free and disciplined party in the country. He tried to bring the corruption from PP but it has not worked in MCP. He should have remained in parties that have a history of corruption e.g. PP. UDF, DPP, UTM

Lunguzi won. Bandawe played tricks to full people that he won. The party, having analyzed what really happened, they announced the real winner, Lunguzi. MCP is a party that is against corruption, theft, impunity etc and this has to start within the party. As such, there is no way they can allow someone to represent it who won the primaries by cheating. If the party was to do that, then the integrity of the leadership would be questioned.
