Bullets vs Wanderers has ever since attracted the largest soccer following and has time and again filled the match bigger Kamuzu Stadium’s 60,000 capacity to the brim surpassing some national events including national team games. So it is surprising to me that we are giving the stadium the toughest test it may not even meet again given what is at stake here. What if the systems we are trying to test like traffic control , security, evacuation, electricity, plumbing, entrance, etc fail since everything is being stretched to the limit will it not be a crisis? What was the cost of this stadium. How long will it take to Malawi to pay back the loan to China. Should Malawi be investing in schools, and universities instead of stadiums that are hardly used? Boycott the launch of this Stadium or go with banner demanding that government invests in schools and netball and stops wasting money on football.
