Blacks to release ‘Kuimba 10′ in July

After a long wait, Malawi’s leading  gospel outfit the Black Missionaries have finally announced that the much awaiting Kuimba 10 album will finally be released in July 2015.

While confirming the development, the band front man Anjiru Fumulani said they had to take time in releasing the new album as they needed to prepare well to dish out the best production to their fans.

“We took time because we had to prepare well but I am assuring our fans that they should expect some good stuff in Kuimba 10.” said Fumulani.

Fumulani believes the new album carries a good message and that it will be one of the best ever Kuimba productions.

But he said Malawians will be the best judges once they listen to some of the songs in the new album.

According to Fumulani, some of the singles will hit the airwaves on 18th May, 2015.

“The album carries a good message but I cannot say much; let us just wait for May 18th for Malawians to judge” he said.

He also thanked Malawians for the wonderful and tireless support they have offered to the band since their founder late Evison Matafale died.

“We are where we are today because of our fans and I would like to ask them to continue supporting us and we will make sure that we always give out the best” said Fumulani.

Some of the songs expected to hit the airwaves on 18th May include Mwankana and Sindingakwanitse.

Sindingakwanitse, a love song talk of a person who is deeply in love and tells a partner that he can’t live without the partner while Mwankana is a gospel track reminding people that all the challenges the world is facing today is because people have rejected Jesus Christ.

The album will be launched in Blantyre in July before touring Lilongwe and finally in Mzuzu in September.
