By the way, why is it that all city councils in Malawi have no CEO? I mean Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Zomba. Is it that the ministry of local government is failing to recruit or someone is trying to sabotage government by suffocating human resources in the councils so that people should think boma lalephera kupeza suitable people to head these only cities in Malawi. What I read here just confirms that Some people do not understand the meaning of a draft budget. A budget is simply a financial proposal period!!!!. If indeed it is true that the acting CEO Dr . Chanza has instructed transport section to be providing transport to councillors when they are provided with fuel is pure mismanagement of council funds. Who sent Dr Chanza to Blantyre City Council please? This guy is very corrupt and he is very empty in his head. The right person for the post of Chief if anything is Costly Chanza who knows the job than anyone else. With Dr Chanza, the city is sinking like a Titanic ship and p[eople will belive me very soon than later.

this is sheer PR by DR Alfred Chanza! The change of heart was done way before the suspension of Nandolo and Chanza shouldnt get the credit here. Period! You may wish to know that Dr Chanza has instructed the transport department to provide daily transport to councillors yet they have a monthly fuel allocation! All this as a strategy to woo support so that he gets confirmed as CEO by the powers that be.
