It is very upsetting to see how much these, so called investors, are ruining our country. They think and propabaly been told, that they can fool us all natives of the Republic of Malawi. Just look at Mota Engil, they have been forcing people off their lands and pushed them away to the bushes. And now, I hear they want to force people in Monkey Bay, a total of over 25 000 families to relocate to the bushes/mountains and these peoples’ lively-hood has been and will always be fishing. That Company should liase with Govt not villagers. It’s the Govts responsibility to relocate and or compensate the villagers

As much as railway line imeneyi izapindulira tonse,stil those people around/affected need to be rightly compasseted. imagine how much telecommunication companies pay just to put a mast/transmeter?
at least the mozambicans need us through this project. I ask the malawi government to use this rail line project to push the shire zambezi waterway project to twist the hand of the mozambicans.
