I don’t see any conflict of interest in this issue, the only problem that I see here is big organization monopolize issue to their advantage and to the disadvantage of the poor, CAF is a different issue and teams that will particate does not belong to Sulom, if Airtel wants to sponsor Bullets, let it be so ,otherwise this issue of denying other Telecom operators to sponsor team in other international games is based on archaic type of marketing

Bullets don’t play the superleague this season get the money and play CAF leave the stupid superleague without reigning champions. if they can’t fund why not allow others? jealousy!!!!!! it simply shows there’s a lot of football politics

Go to UK and see how Vodaphone and its competitors operate. You will only understand this issue when you are in marketing. AFCON is sponsored by a telecommunication company Orange that’s why no other company in the same industry is no featured.

Malawi Revenue Authority guys can you investigate these guys surely these guys are under declaring their finances because Chikaonda and Anadkat in South Africa ABSA is sponsoring R400,000,000.00 the league… Read more »

This is stupid !! Why soccer? Are all Malawians soccer fans? How about the other disciplines ? Flood victims? There are better ways of investing the money than wasting it on football

@KikaKanawe,you should know that companies sponsor porting activities to advantage their brands. if the contract with sulom stated that limitation then fine and good. After all where was the other network when sulom was struggling to get sponsorship. the thing is everywhere such contracts come with conditions. In Europe a player under contract with Adidas cannot appear wearing Nike branded gear. it is as simple as that. You may wish to know that the Netball Association of Malawi is contracted with Airtel to sponsor the National Netbal Team. under that contract NAM can not solicit funding from Airtel’s competitor brands.… Read more »
