Shisha uses Dark Fired Tobacco from Malawi which is then flavoured mostly in middle eastern countries. Banning Shisha is as good as banning tobacco in Malawi which is currently the biggest forex earner in Malawi. You cant have your cake and eat it. Malawians should desist from coming up with sensational news that paint the country negatively, we need first of all to have all the facts and then report as such. Those are not the only drugs being abused. Look into the codeine and sprite abuse rampant among the youth….Government do something urgently!!

One shisha session equals the smoke of 100 cigarrettes. This is 100% true. It also damages the lungs completely.

Shisha should be banned. This is a poor country where there are no resources for medical treatment.
