The church collects tithe and Sunday offerings in millions just as good as Govt does on taxes. What has the church done to help the needy? Is it not hypocricy to expect all help to come from Govt alone? Why are churches busy with feasts instead of helping the poor just as Govt is doing? And does the bishop remind his people to work hard and not to always expect help or handouts from Govt and well-wishers? Lazy bishop of the north!!!

I do not think it is true that vendors are selling a kg of maize at K900 as put in this story. This translates to K45,000 per 50kg bag! Bwana Owen Khamula, check your arithmetic

Bishop Mtumbuka and your other fellow Tumbuka bishops why do you come only with expression of anger. Why cant you provide solutions but criticisms all the times? Are of bishop of anger and criticism? Try to be sober and constructive not destructive. Bring solutions not problems. You can surrender yourself to be a watchman for the maize. Because the problem here is security of maize from the venders and and other selfish buyers.
