Fatherly advice. I respect you from the time you headed PAC. How I wish the current PAC had people like you. On next year’s elections, advise Chingota and our Bishop Msusa to stop speaking with tongue in the cheek. The faithfuls might lose respect with them if they force us to toe their line of thinking in politics. Chilima is vying for a political seat therefore there is no need for all catholics to support him as if he will be head for catholics only.
I am a long serving Catholic (over 60 years old), I am a bit amused by the reporting of some particular reporters at Nyasatimes, who like to quote the venerable Monsignor, amongst over 300 clergy, priests and bishops every few months. The Catholic family is divided into dioceses for administration, and the top dog in each diocese is the Bishop. Various priests preach to Catholics on a daily basis, but only Bishops preach beyond the Catholic family, because they also lay the groundwork to what we believe in.
