Its a sound development if strategically implemented …..I welcome it…Illiterate people are the ones who comment in that way…This is the modern world, let technology lead don’t be malafideic, support the University its our own.

People, please read articles before commenting on them. Also, do not bring up facts refuting an argument that hasn’t been presented yet. Mobile voting cannot replace the traditional paper-based system, even in the most advanced countries. It just helps people who want to vote but cannot get to the polling station for one reason or another. It’s not like I can just pick any phone (or phones if I have many) and vote.

Kungomva kuti e chakuti basi mwati nzabwino!!! How reliable is the mobile network in Malawi. Haven’t you had situations whereby you call someone and you get a voice mail that the subscriber cannot be reached while his phone is on and is within the mobile network reach?
What if someone else registers and uses your number? Ngati akukubelani ndalama pa airtel money and mpamba ndiye kuli bwanji zamavotizi. Zinazi osamaziyambila dala we are better off with the paper system kummaviika chala.
