@Kaka ni dada How strong is MCP in the south? How strong is MCP in Mangochi? As already said Malindi is not purely Yao area. MCP thought can bring magic and win in the area taking this advantage. Now that it can lose in the neutral area how dare they talk of penetrating Mangochi? Malindi is populated by people from Likoma which happens to be north of Malawi. Very impressive results of workaholis by Chakwera standards : 2-0. MCP was saved by voter apathy in October by elections. Thanks to the people of Mangochi and Mulanje for coming up with the latest and current political barometer.

Malindi is not typical Yao area. It is a place for those who came from Likoma Island and they are Tongas. They are viewed as people from the North. MCP should not shine on areas which have never been strong-holds of any party in the south. Let them show their strength in Phalombe or Chimwala in Mangochi. We want MCP to invade areas which are real strongholds of a party as DPP is doing in Kasungu.
