Chapola got the job through Kalista and through Kalista he is booted out. So, what’s the news here? Let him go and sort out the firegate at NICO. And why should the government keep such a person who is under the firegate investigation?
Let him answer to allegations of torching NICO to destroy information. That is too serious an offence. Ntchito zolowera backdoor vuto lake ndi limenelo
Let’s set the record straight. As far as I know, Chapola was a very senior officer in NICO in the eighties, long before the name Bingu was known; even before Callista became an influential politician. His intelligence is far beyond most of DPP clowns. Its just that DPP doesn’t like clever people.

Much as Chapola may be a star performer as the writer insists, the question is: how was Chapola considered for the position in the first place? It is clear Callista had a role in his appointment, hence the so called retribution. Regardless of how qualified you are, getting positions based on political connections ultimately morphs into a dent.
The guy is one of educated sons of the land and on ethical grounds cants continues working current leadership. Sorry Eric, but probably you will come back next year.
