Mr Chaponda, the alleged thief together with your friends alleged thieves must resign now because we Malawians who are suffering on the ground with all these tough taxes imposed on us should remain a cabinet minister. This is ridiculous. I am paying 130 thousand kwacha in taxes every month but I am very poor and I even fail to have my own house but you have 35 houses that you are constructing because of stealing my monthly contribution tax money. It could be better that I help my poor parents other than u stealing it. Peter tidzamanga tokha pa 20… Read more »

Is he defending anything? He is not denying. Rather just attacking some concerned fella. When I saw the headline I thought I could read some tangible defense. But gosh! What else would a thief say!

Bwana Chaponda apa tikuti yalowa game zikwanje. The best thing you can do is force the government to release the whole audit report as Mayi Mtila did and from there will make a conclusion that you are an innocent man and people like Zoole Mwale are just jealousy of you. After all you worked with UN for many years

Dear Mr. Chaponda, the alleged thief. You could also have done the same thing to avoid responding to the allegation by not using the same platform. There is no personal vandetta here Mr. Chaponda, the alleged thief. If I were you, I could have opted to remain silent or even resign to pave way for the investigation. If there is no wrong doing on your side, then I don’t see a reason why you are panicking Mr.Chaponda, the alleged thief. My friendly advice to you my dear Mr.Chaponda, the alleged thief, is for you to resign so that she proven… Read more »
